Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026
This is a plain-language summary, written to be genuinely readable. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and should be treated as a working draft pending that review before commercial launch — particularly given the additional care required around information relating to children under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023).

We built StreamWise specifically to avoid holding a database of children's personal information. Here's exactly what that means in practice.

1. Who the account belongs to

A parent or legal guardian is always the purchaser and account holder — never the student directly (except for Grade 10–12 Focus reports, where the student may answer the questions themselves, but the parent/guardian remains the account holder). This is confirmed with a checkbox at the point of purchase.

2. What we collect

We do not collect the student's date of birth, school name, photograph, or any other identifying detail beyond what's listed above.

3. What we don't do

4. Third-party services we use

Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. Email delivery is handled by Resend. Hosting and content delivery is handled by Cloudflare. Each of these processes the minimum data needed to perform its function (e.g., Razorpay sees your payment details directly; we never do) and is bound by its own privacy and security practices.

5. Radar's stored record

A Radar purchase requires one small stored record — your email, your selected class/board/stream filters, an assessment profile if one exists, and your access expiry date — so that deadline alerts can be sent to the right people. This record is deleted or anonymised after your access period ends, unless you renew.

6. How long we keep things

A generated report persists at its permanent, unguessable URL for as long as the service operates, so you can always return to it. Radar records are retained only for the active access period plus a short grace window, then removed.

7. Your rights

You can request deletion of your Radar record, or ask us to stop sending emails, at any time by contacting us at the email listed on our homepage. Because report files don't contain a separate identifiable record beyond the name embedded in the document itself, deleting a report on request means the file is taken down and stops resolving.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your data, can be sent to the contact email listed on our homepage.
