Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026
This is a plain-language summary of our terms, written to be genuinely readable rather than legally exhaustive. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and should be treated as a working draft pending that review before commercial launch.

1. What StreamWise is

StreamWise provides informational and educational assessments — Spark, Signal, Compass, Focus, and Radar — for students in Grades 1 to 12, built on public-domain psychological frameworks (RIASEC, Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, the Big Five model). These are not professional counselling, psychological diagnosis, or individualised advice, and no human advisor reviews or interprets any individual result.

2. Who can purchase

The purchaser must be a parent or legal guardian of the student the assessment is for, and must confirm this at the point of purchase. For Grade 10–12 reports, the student may complete the questionnaire directly, but the parent or guardian remains the account holder and is responsible for the purchase.

3. Payment

All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay, a third-party payment processor. StreamWise does not store your card, UPI, or bank details — these are handled entirely by Razorpay under its own security and compliance standards.

4. Refunds

See our separate Refund Policy for full details. In short: because reports are digital and delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable once a report or Radar access has been generated and delivered.

5. What you're actually getting

Each report is a reading based on your answers, scored transparently against a named psychological framework, and matched to pre-written content. It is not a guarantee of academic performance, exam success, admission outcomes, or career results. Radar's exam and scholarship information is sourced from official notifications and updated regularly, but dates and fees can change without notice — always verify final details with the conducting body directly.

6. Intellectual property

The underlying frameworks (RIASEC, Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, the Big Five/IPIP model) are public-domain and not owned by StreamWise. The specific questions, report content, scoring logic, and Radar dataset compiled by StreamWise are our own work and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

StreamWise is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a report or Radar information, including academic, financial, or career outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of StreamWise after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.
